Roshni had given me The Generous Blogger Award in February this year. Thank you Roshni. I found this award very unique.

A description of this award — “This award doesn’t come with any rules or questions or link requirements. Instead, what I want you to do with them is copy them to your computer and give them out carefully to people who are truly amazing. Give them to the people who help you and answer your questions. Give them to the bloggers who teach you how to make a button, explain what SEO is or who share your blog with their audience. Give them to the people who don’t take sides in petty internet squabbles, who blog with integrity, who are kind to you. Give them to the people who go out on a limb and blog about controversial topics with authenticity and grace. Give them to the people who have a unique voice and stand up for things they believe in (even, no especially, when what they say might not be popular). Give them to the blogger that you never agree with, but who you like anyway because they always disagree with you respectfully and never delete your comments just because they don’t share your views. Give them to the quiet blogger that doesn’t get the attention he or she deserves. Give them to the quirky people who make you laugh because they are so honest and so real in their writing.”

Bhavana gave me the Awesome Blogger Award for the nutritious heart food served on the blog all through the year. An amazing choice of words. Feel truly honored to get it from a soul sister. Thank you Bhavana for your love, support and encouragement always!

Now onto the Liebster Awards. I am thankful to the 3 bloggers who passed them on to me:

BlogwatiG

She gave me the award in August last year. Sorry I took so long in acknowledging it *eyes lowered*. Here are her questions and my answers:

1. Do you think a 3 am friend is a myth?

Absolutely! I was willing to kill my children if they woke me at 3 am, others you can imagine :).

2. Who would you rather be? A celebrity or the Prime Minister of the country?

A sincere and efficient PM who can make some difference to the state of the country.

Their openness.

They perpetuate stereotypes about beauty and provide poor role models for young girls apart from being commercial exercises in the guise of doing social good.

Someday I would love to work with an NGO!

 7. What has your electricity consumption been the last month? Is it gonna change for the better?

An enigma – strong yet sensitive, confrontational yet peace loving, in your face yet quiet and pensive…

Usha Menon

Thank you everyone for your appreciation and love. I am truly humbled. I am not passing the awards on because everyone and their grandmother has already received them. 2. Rachna! There is one book to erase in my mind – ‘Mein Kampf’ by Hitler 🙂

  3. Congratulations Rachna for acceptng the award from me. All the thirty three answers you given portray your liberal, humanitarian and enlightened approach. I really loved reading them.

  4. Wonderful, Rachna!! I just love all your answers…cannot tell you how many times I nodded and felt delighted at how similarly we feel about different issues!!

  5. congratulations Rachna !.Your answers in the last one are amazing..

  6. Well deserved! Wish you many more, Rachna:)

  7. Congratulations, Rachna! Nice to read your answers to the questions. Yes, Ultrasound is a bane for our country, which is still in the stone age in this matter.

    • Thank you so much, Sandhya! Ultrasound technology has so many benefits like finding abnormalities, assisting surgeries etc. but this one misuse has created a massive problem in our country. Of course, the problem is more with the mindset than the technology per se sadly :(.

  8. Superb… all the awards together… 🙂 Congratulations on all of them 🙂

  9. Congrats on the multiple awards, Rachna. Loved reading your interesting answers for they enabled me to know more about you and the lovely person you are!

    Joy always,
    Susan

  10. Congrats on winning so many awards!
Is it possible to display all the awards received as a slide show on the home page instead of in separate window?

  11. Well done Rachna! You do have the patience, phew! What a comprehensive post. And thank you for saying such wonderful things about me. Remind me to keep you on speed dial when I need a boost 🙂

    • Thanks Vinita! Arre patience to bahut kam ho gayi hai aaj kal :). Seriously grateful for all the affection and had to acknowledge it. Sure, any time and of course, I meant those words :).

  12. Congratulations on getting all those awards Rachna. 🙂
And your school has been razed? *shock*

    • Yes Amit, sad as it is. We had our school on Pedder Road, a prime property next to Jaslok Hospital if you are familiar with Mumbai. I guess the management got a great real estate deal and sold it off to some developers. So the school was razed. It was a fabulous one. I do stay in touch with all the friends and catch up sometimes when in Mumbai! Thank you, it took me so long to acknowledge them.

  13. As usual I admire your honesty, Rachna and the fact that you acknowledge all the awards and answer them so diligently. I just say that I don’t do tags 😛

    • Thank you Bhagyashree! I will amend the rules and not pass on but the love has to be acknowledged and shared na :). Me and my big mouth, glad you enjoyed the answers.

  14. You know what first made me smile? *eyes lowered* 🙂 You’d probably have an impish look 🙂 Nice to read and know more about you! The sunrise/sunset question – am thinking “Where am I even going to wake up in time for a sunrise!” LOL 🙂 TF’s questions were the ones requiring the most thought, I agree! I started seriously and then some I couldn’t resist being childish 🙂

    • Exactly Deepa! How did you know my look :). Sahi boli. Only when I go somewhere on vacation, do I get to see the sunrise. I’d rather be in bed. Agree, TF’s questions needed some serious thinking. I loved your answers btw!

  15. Congrats on all your awards–you deserve them all and more!!! Abd in btw, wow–I never manage to answer questions. You answered them so well!! Congrats and Kudos!!!

    • Thanks Bhavana! So sorry that I missed out acknowledging your award. Btw, I loved how gave the award and frankly you included all my favorite blogs in your list. I guess my blogger friends are very generous, and I revel in this feeling of camaraderie. That answering the questions bit makes me push it off for long. Thanks again, dear!

  16. Your school was razed. I read it twice and then I checked the other meanings of razed in online dictionary. I loved your answer on which discovery you would uninvent. Congrats a ton for the awards, appreciation from fellow bloggers means a lot. 🙂

    • See my reply to Amit above about razing. My school was razed to build a building or something. Thanks for the thumbs up, Saru! Indeed it is nice to be appreciated :)>

  17. Well deserved.
My best wishes for future awards too.
