Who would have thought that a phone would make us smarter and our lives easier? There was a time when my smartphone would not accompany me everywhere. It was a pet peeve of my husband’s that I never kept it with me. To tell you the truth, I still do not at times. I leave it on the couch or charging in some corner while I blissfully go about doing my work only to come back later to find missed calls and messages. Well, some habits die hard. But most other times, smartphones are a lifeline for me. I can access my email and respond to them from anywhere. I can click pictures as and when I fancy without lugging my camera around. I can browse interesting stuff on the internet. I can get driving directions to any place that I am going to. Makes it so much easier as a woman, no? I can also check out reviews and details of eateries if and when the fancy strikes.

Life-Saver Apps!

I can use its multiple apps to do things that I hitherto found cumbersome. It is not the machines but the Apps that have taken over our lives. And, I say thank you to that. ðŸ™‚

Have you tried shopping for apparel? I used to have a harrowing time huffing and puffing from one retail outlet to another, trying to make sense of their sales. It was tedious especially for a person like me who hates the pain of the footwork that necessarily accompanies the high of shopping.

Bingo! I found Apps. Will you believe me if I told you that I have not bought clothes in ‘retail’ stores in a while? Yes, it’s true. I just get them through my Apps. With some great e-portals that offer you sweat free shipping, returns and exchanges, you literally have the world at your feet.

From Groceries to Banking- There’s an App for that!

Hey, for that matter, I do my groceries online too. Netbanking and travel bookings were always done online even earlier. Seriously, there are some great offers out there. If you use Apps, you get better discounts. Think about it. You no longer need to be at your computer to make a purchase or check information when fancy strikes. That makes my smartphone even more alluring.

Then there are Apps that help me have access to my documents, to social media sites, to music, to my blog, to my financial transactions and to my fitness Apps too.

I mean, seriously, how much punch does that tiny smartphone pack! And how easy it has made our lives.

It is an Apptastic world now.

Have you tried the Myntra App? It is a simple, fast way of buying your favorite branded apparel and accessories across all age groups. The App in itself is nifty, user friendly and very easy to shop with. Just download it for your Android, Iphone or Windows phone. Browse, check choices and buy. It is as simple as that.
