This Christmas, we at Indiblogeshwaris, an FB group of feisty Indian women bloggers, decided to do a very different version of Secret Santa. So, this time around, we secretly visited a blog and reviewed it.

A Few Drops of Ink is the personal blog of Cynthia Rodrigues Manchekar who is a mother of 2 and devoted wife. She is also a writer and editor and works for an internal communications team of  large Indian corporate. She has been blogging since 2009. I had the pleasure of browsing through her blog.

Cynthia shares her personal experiences, does book and movie reviews, writes her parenting musings and routinely participates in blog tags. I loved the few posts that I read in the A-Z challenge that she had participated in. The posts that I read gave me a glimpse into a strong-willed, warm and devoted person that she is. I especially loved reading about the cause of breastfeeding that she incorporated in a contest entry post. The post on Raksha bandhan about the brother-sister bond, where she explores her own relationship with her brother as well as those of her children is a heartening read as well. There are some interesting fiction pieces too on her blog. Overall, her blog is a good reflection of the person that she is and an easy-on-the-senses read.

Cynthia, it was a pleasure reading a few posts on your blog. I hope you continue to write and engage your readers in a similar way in the future! My best wishes to you for the festive season. Wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year especially to La Nina and El Nino!

This review is done as a part of the Secret Elves Christmas activity on Indiblogeshwaris!
