The top three are the pics of the Hogennakal Falls. You can see the hanging bridge over the Cauvery from where one could see the smaller falls. The main Fall can be reached by a coracle ride. You can see how grimy the water looks, and it was so damn hot. We were so thirsty! It being a plastic-free zone, we left our water bottle behind. Later realizing our folly, when we saw plastic littered all around.
The last two pics(that I have removed) were taken on the mountainous road to Yercaud. There are 20 numbered and so many more unnumbered hair-pin bends on the 20-km uphill mountainous road to Yercaud from Salem city. At the 4th hair-pin bend, we came across this lovely waterfall, so we parked our car and frolicked in the lovely, refreshing water, which looked so clean. It was such fun :).
Very nice pictures! Reminds me of the beautiful waterfalls of Iceland. Different continent, though 🙂
