There was an article recently about how celebrities like Madonna etc. are using sites like Facebook, twitter etc. to dump their partners. They are offering regular updates about their relationship status. Really, these celebrities ! How can something so personal be left for public consumption. Another disturbing trend is for common people like you and me, using status updates or smses to break up with their partners.
My view is that a person needs to show a little more sensitivity and sensibility in such issues. It is really ridiculous that one does not even have the decency to break up something as important as a relationship to their partner’s face. I think a human being deserves at least this much respect from another one.
As the world gets better connected with emailing, blogging and social networking, are we forgetting basic human courtesies and decencies ?
