Birmingham State University has come up with a one-year Masters Degree in Social Networking. It will teach the students how to blog or how to use the sites in communications and marketing. I feel that it is such a waste of university resources to teach students to socially network. Really, it requires no degree to be able to set up a blog or use sites like twitter and Facebook.
Amazing, the direction in which the world is headed in the field of education !
well, I bet the university was not getting the requisite number of students so they came up with this hoping that facebook craze would get them few students.
Yeah, it must be their way of making easy money. Bankruptcy of ideas is afflicting education too.
