Dettol Multi-Use Wipes – A Review

I lived in the US when my elder son was born. I especially remember that I loved using the disinfectant wipes that were available there. They were pretty useful especially for cleaning toilet seats, door handles, keyboards and multiple other places that we normally forget to disinfect. Back in India, I missed those wipes.

Recently, I came across Dettol multi-use wipes. The name Dettol attached to the product is a definite pick me up when it comes to cleaning, disinfecting and germ removal. Priced at Rs. 115 for a pack of 30 wipes, the wipes seem priced a bit on the higher side, but I was keen to try it for myself.

You can use the product for:

1. Personal use: Use it on your hands, face, neck etc. for instant cleaning and disinfection. The wipe is soft, thin and moist. It has a silky touch on your skin when used and a mild citrusy fragrance which is likeable. It is not too wet. Your face or any other surface dries up soon enough and leaves your skin clean without leaving it dry. The brand ensures that the wipes have emollients that keep your skin nourished.Best of all, it is alcohol free and completely safe to use on your skin.
2. Toilets: I loved using this wipe to wipe the toilet seats, taps, faucets and door knobs which accumulate tons of germs regularly. Easy and quick and the job is done.
3. Kitchen: It is safe and easy to use on kitchen surfaces like countertops, microwave, fridge etc. to keep the surfaces germ free.
4. Other surfaces: I find it very useful to wipe down table surfaces while eating out especially in those eateries that do a shoddy job of cleaning their tables. It also helps to have these in your purse especially if you have children who get dirty so easily. I also use it to disinfect children’s toys. It is useful in public restrooms to wipe the seat quickly before use. You can use it on practically any surface that requires disinfection whether at home, work or on the go.

It is a versatile product that can be used in multiple ways. It also is so wonderful to touch, feel and smell. And it has Dettol’s guarantee of protection from germs.
