As parents, we are the most judged species not only by outsiders but by our own selves. And, it is a parent’s worst nightmare when the child suffers an accident especially if it happens by their own mistake. In this post done for Parentous.com, I speak about this accident involving my then infant son, Siddharth. This post is very close to my heart and I must warn you of highly charged emotional content.

18 Thoughts on “Judge Me Not

  1. I have put in the comment on the link Rachna. The incident definetely gave me the goosebumps. You are brave, but your husband was so supportive and so mature. Glad all ended well.

  2. Highly charged emotional content indeed. Reminded me of an incident with my mom when she threw an exam pad at me and the metal part came and cut my face and it started bleeding like hell. Dad of course gave it to her.

    • Wow, now you must have really made her mad. I remember that once in my childhood, I was playing a dart game. One dart flew and hurt my mom’s ear rather badly. She had to undergo a long treatment. Of course, she gave it to me nicely because I had been told not to play :).

  3. Commented, Rachna. Glad you have a cool headed husband:)

  4. Rachna,

Navigated and left my comment there.

    Take care

  5. Read the post and really felt what you must have gone through. But I liked how people around you supported you.

  6. it indeed was a scary incident. thankfully, everything was fine eventually.

there is no reason for you to be blamed for that. but it’s human tendency to blame someone or rather find a cause for everything that happens.

  7. A tight hug for you Rachna 🙂 🙂

  8. Read it there. 🙂 Am glad the people who needs to, they supported well, instead of blaming you.

  9. Left a comment there, Rachna. You are really brave. 🙂
