We celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary yesterday! It was a wonderful day spent reminiscing and being with the family and making me remember just how much is there in life to be grateful for — a wonderful loving husband, great kids, loving family and friends, joy, and laughter. Looking forward to the first day of the rest of our lives together….

@David Thank you for the compliment and the warm words. Yes, we do dress up vibrantly, and I think that our ethnic dresses like saris, ghagra cholis and salwars look so beautiful. And, our weddings are very colorful too!
You are right, not everyone can hear unspoken words. But, after 10 years together, there are times we can even hear each other’s thoughts. Of course, we have our ups and downs, but the positives give me the strength to tide over the negatives. As you know, women are such sentimental beings!

Here I have a criticism to make, not the India, of course, but to Brazil. Our weddings are also very colorful, but not naturally, traditionaly as I thinks it’s in India. It’s something imported from Europe what we have here, like a fashion show. I should not be complaining about women who strive to stay beautiful but this seems so superficial! In India, the cerimony seems much more interesting than here!

I really don’t know much about Brazilian weddings; I assume they are like the Christian weddings in the rest of the world? And, yes I do enjoy the depth and festivities and color behind our rituals.
yeah, they are, but haven’t the same religious meaning that had in another times!!!
