Sid and Gautam are back home and barring one unpleasant incident, they had a great time away from home. We also managed to pack in quite a bit within a week, when they were away. A visit to a pub (long time due), a client visit, lots of cooking together, hanging around, and enjoying the silences. But, we missed the kids immensely!

Gautam is a busy bee around the house. He is very prompt in fetching things, and it comes in handy because we have a duplex. He is also very prompt in opening the door, giving the garbage, getting my cellphone, getting water for me (all at 3.5 years!). Sid is the one with whom I can have really good conversations. He is bright, insightful, knowledgeable, and really loving. And the part I missed the most was the constant hugging and kissing the kids.

And, I would never allow them to go away alone, one of us will accompany them for any of their future trips.
The pic above was taken yesterday, when they had a marathon sleep session :). They slept like logs.
Gurdev and I, our world revolves around them!

A son may love his sweetheart the most, his wife the best….but his mother the longest.
