My company, Tranquil Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is launching its first Web Application called Parentnet.in. This application is aimed at parents. It is a wonderful social networking platform for parents whose children study in the same class in the same school. You might have noticed that as parents, we would like to be in touch with the parents whose children study in our child’s class. This helps us in discussing common issues as we all are practically in the same boat. Yet, it is so difficult to find information about parents to keep in touch. The school does not provide any information in this regard. And, even in PTIs, we hardly meet one or two parents. So, there is a big demand for a forum like this in the Indian scenario.
Hence, we have developed an application for parents just like you and me. It is easy to use — just follow the simple steps and register on the site. Register your child and the school, and that’s it. You can now use the messaging system to send and receive messages. You can instantly connect with the other parents. You can share thoughts, views, your child’s achievements and any such information, which you might want to share. You could discuss parenting issues and share parenting resources. It is a wonderful thing for all parents to be a part of.
And, you need to pay nothing in return. It is totally FREE of cost. Does it sound too good to be true? Trust me, it is wonderful. So go to ParentNet.in today and see for yourself. Do spread the word among your friends!

This is a personal request to all my blogger friends — please use it, and I do count on your feedback and support, since it is a new Application.

  5. really useful and good application. i visited the site. i wish they had mentioned the names of the school and the number of members in it before one had to register..
that would give the parent an idea of the geographical use of this application..
(i wanted to recommend it for my friends in chennai, but was unsure if it was used mainly by parents in bangalore..) (yeah i understand that there is no harm in registering from a school first).

    i will definitely promote it.
(since my kid doesn’t go to school cant use it at the moment.)

congrats to those who came up with this solution for FREE.

  6. if they could develop a promote icon, we could display it on our blogs..

  7. @Jaanvi Thanks! Looking forward to your feedback.

@Jidhu Sure, Jidhu. Why don’t you email me at rachna.parmar@gmail.com, and we can take it on from there.

@wise donkey This is a startup owned by my husband and me. This application has been developed by both of us (he is the technical brain behind it). Once you register your child and school, you will be able to see on your dashboard, any other members registered for that school. Since it is a new application just launched, it will take some time for it to gain members. If a school is registered by a member then it will show in the list, else click others and you will be prompted to add a school.

The idea of the Promote icon is good. I will ask my husband to work on it. And, do let your friends in Chennai have the link. This is aimed as an all-India site and not only Bangalore based. You can see that it has a comprehensive list of cities. Thanks for all your inputs.
