Friday, being May Day was a holiday and we decided to go to Wonderla, a theme park, around 30 kms. from the city. We reached around 11ish and it was pretty hot. Being a holiday, there were just too many people around. I had been here once before when I was expecting Gautam and was unable to enjoy most of the rides. This time I wanted to go for all the water rides but the queues were just too long. We loved the waves pool, lazy river, big splash and a lot of dry rides. The kids had a lot of rides for themselves so they enjoyed a lot too. The sky wheel was simply amazing. It is mounted on a 10-m high tower and it gives a great view of Wonderla and the surrounding areas.
Since we got completely drenched, we kept cool through the hot day. Everything is well organized and affordable and even my mother-in-law enjoyed a lot. The only regret was not being able to enjoy all the water rides. Well, the next time, maybe 🙂
